Diskover Us ("we", "us") is a travel-planning website at diskoverus.com. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what your choices are. Questions any time: contact@diskoverus.com.

What we collect

• Account information. If you create an account, we receive your name, email address, and (with Google sign-in) your profile photo. Accounts are managed by Google Firebase Authentication.
• Content you share. Star ratings, written experiences, and photos you choose to post are stored (Google Firestore for text, Cloudinary for images) and shown publicly on the site with your display name.
• Itineraries. Activities you save are stored in your browser, and — if you're signed in — in your account so they sync across devices.
• Newsletter email. If you subscribe, your email is stored by Netlify Forms and used only to send the newsletter.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data, we don't run third-party advertising, and we don't collect more than the features need.

Cookies and local storage

We use browser local storage to remember your itinerary, and Firebase uses cookies/storage to keep you signed in. No advertising trackers.

Service providers

We rely on: Netlify (hosting, newsletter form), Google Firebase (accounts, database), Cloudinary (image hosting), and ImprovMX (email forwarding). Each processes data under its own privacy terms.

Deleting your data

You can delete any experience you posted from your account page or the place it appears. To delete your account and associated data entirely, email contact@diskoverus.com and we'll take care of it.

Children

Diskover Us is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above.
